Valvoline Global Scholarships Available – Apply by March 31 at AutomotiveScholarships.com

Valvoline Global has partnered with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF) to provide scholarships through the foundation’s AutomotiveScholarships.com web portal.

Valvoline Global appreciates the importance of mechanics and technicians. To show their support and honor of the men and women in the field, during the month of March (Mechanic’s and International Women’s Month) they will be awarding Ten $2,000 scholarships for students pursuing a career in the automotive industry, for the 2024-25 academic year to students enrolled in four-year and two-year colleges as well as ASE/NATEF certified automotive, collision and heavy-duty/diesel post-secondary programs. In addition, four $2,500 scholarships are earmarked for female candidates.

“Valvoline Global is excited to celebrate our fifth Mechanics Month, where we honor mechanics worldwide,” said Laura Wright, Director of Global Brand Equity. “Our trusted mechanics play a pivotal role in our journeys. They ensure our travels aren’t limited to just getting from one place to another; rather they open us up to exploring endless horizons and creating memorable adventures far and wide.”

This first-of-its-kind program has gained significant traction since Valvoline launched its Mechanics Month initiative in 2020. Participation has grown from 15 countries to more than 62.

“This campaign celebrates what mechanics provide to people everywhere — an opportunity to enjoy all the world has to offer. Because mechanics don’t just make driving better, they make our world smarter, safer — better,” said Wright. ” As we embrace the chance to show that appreciation again this year, we ask that everyone extend gratitude to mechanics worldwide, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to maintaining and caring for our vehicles.”

By completing a single application on the AutomotiveScholarships.com website, students will be considered for multiple scholarships for which they are eligible. The site allows applicants to view the details of all scholarships available and continue to update their application until the March 31 deadline.

“We’re very proud to partner with Valvoline to provide scholarships for students studying for a career in the automotive industry,” said Mike Buzzard, AAP, chairman, University of the Aftermarket Foundation. “We encourage all those who are interested to visit AutomotiveScholarships.com soon so they have plenty of time to complete and submit their applications by the March 31 deadline.”
