Automotive Parts Associates (APA) has awarded five scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year to the children or employees of APA shareholders.
The following individuals have each been awarded a $1,000 scholarship: Diana Davis of Clawson, Michigan; Neena Hernandez of Sylmar, California; Joy LaCava of Somerset, Massachusetts; Alex Renzetti of Chicago Heights, Illinois; and Grace Ziemer of Saint Paul, Minnesota. The APA scholarships, administered by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF), were awarded to students who will be attending, or will attend, a two or four-year accredited college; an ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary automotive, heavy duty or collision technician training program; or any licensed and accredited vocational school. In addition, once a student applied for an APA scholarship, the applicant was also considered for UAF and other scholarships available through the
Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships Central website at www.AutomotiveScholarships.com. “Automotive Parts Associates is proud to be able to contribute to the future of the aftermarket industry by providing deserving students a helping hand to offset the cost of their education.” said APA Director of Operations, Judy Sanell.
